I have always thought...

white birds
I have always thought that stars turn into white birds in the morning light
& sleep with their heads under their wings
until the dusk begins to walk through the streets.

A rather wet, all ruffled bronzewing on my clothes line.
This bird is a large pigeon native to Australia.

nice coloring on this dove. Don´t think I have seen it before. It does not look to happy about beeing wet.

When the birds puff out like that it always makes them look so much bigger. I'm thinking this guy is pretty big to start with. :)
Wonderful capture Gemma!

Just from the hints in this still pose, I imagine that the wing span for this guy/gal is quite beautiful? Lovely soft blue markings on the throat.
