When the birds puff out like that it always makes them look so much bigger. I'm thinking this guy is pretty big to start with. :) Wonderful capture Gemma!

Just from the hints in this still pose, I imagine that the wing span for this guy/gal is quite beautiful? Lovely soft blue markings on the throat.
