I have always thought...

white birds
I have always thought that stars turn into white birds in the morning light
& sleep with their heads under their wings
until the dusk begins to walk through the streets.

Fabulous photo of this interesting bird. I googled it to read more about it.

what kind of bird have you found today? It looks really weird. To bad you did not have more shots a better view of the head would have been nice. :)

Oh this is awesome. There is a residence in town that has these along with some peacocks...you can only image the ruckus these birds give us if we are in the neighborhood.

Excellent image Gemma

They are such interesting birds. If I could find some right now, I'd have to think about turning them loose in my pasture with all the ticks this year.

Nice shot, love the pattern on their feathers.
