I have always thought...

white birds
I have always thought that stars turn into white birds in the morning light
& sleep with their heads under their wings
until the dusk begins to walk through the streets.

I'm Cold and Damp

It was a rainy, grey morning - not very enticing for wandering with a camera.
I was sitting in the car waiting for hubby.
Above, on the fence, beneath a palm, was this little fluffed up character.

Hi Gemma,
Beautiful pictures of the turtle.

Greetings Irma

What else can you be with the sort of weather we are having?

Gemma,
the Indian Mynah is the brown bird with bright yellow beak. The ones I have featured are Miner birds, also an imported bird. I don't think I have seen any Miner birds in Melbourne or southern Vic. I may of course be wrong since I have not regularly visited Melb. in the last year.

Poor little one! All the better to see the details in the feathers in the fluffed up condition. Beautiful shot.

The original down jacket! Love the evening call of the doves--mourning variety. What is this one?
